Annie gets a lot of bans, but for a very easily fixed reason: Tibbers stun.
If you made tibbers a missle, like she throws her stuffed animal and it transforms a la Gnar ult, then it wouldn't be so bad. There's a visual showing where the bear is going and where opponents need to run from from.
I agree. I actually said this exact thing when they took away Veigar's instant AOE stun. It is rather inconsistent logic on Riot's part; AOE CC can't be instant for veigar, but its fine for annie to have.
There is some counterplay to Tibbers. It's called "Sion's Q"
You know, I'd be all up for Annie counterplay, but I want the Annie counterplay as soon as Ahri is nerfed. Currently, Annie is one of the only champions with the potential to shit on Ahri, and that's just something beautiful that I don't want to go away.
