Best Champs to carry with?

Recently I have been playing loads of jungle, winning games, but then i get the the point where i get a bad team and a jungle can't really carry. I main Vi and Malphite, for vi there comes a point where u get fed but you wont do as much with it as your carries, while for malph you generally have to rely on your team to follow up on your ult. Most of the time this works, but if your team just doesn't do damage, then it is useless. I want to find a champion that can carry me out of Bronze. I constantly get to bronze 4 then just get terrible teammates who have no capability to do well, making the jungle role very pointless. Can you be nice and list a couple very iable champs for carrying a game in mid, top, or jung?

Your masteries and runes need work. lolking has you at
Armor Pen +0.72 Magic Pen +0.84 Attack Damage +0.74 Attack Speed +5.43% Crit Damage +0.02 Health / Level +0.3 (+5.41 @ 18) Armor +0.56 Mana Regen / Level +0.01 (+0.13 @ 18) Health Regen getting tier 3 runes and filling the pages out correctly will help a lot. Probably stick with malphite. B5 is really interesting because its a lot of fresh players, diamond smurfs, and trolls. But really to climb its just knowledge and mind set. Stop blaming teammates and blame yourself, regardless, realize mistakes and correct them. Just that alone will help.

i looked at your match history and to me i would stick to malphite or vi. bronze is extremely hard to get out of and low silver is the samethign becasue there is good bronze player however most peopel just rage then stop tryign or wan to surrender for no reason

Vi is a soloQ monster. If your team is unable to follow you up, go damage, and assassinate their carries (believe it or not her secondary tag is an assassin). Often, while tank junglers are the best in the game at the moment, sometimes you do just need to win the game for your team. So instead of Malph (who I guess....could go AD fighter), continue on Vi, and if your team is not doing too well, instead of tank, get damage so you don't even need a team to follow up on a gank.

Akali is really good in low elos on a smurf I have something like a 80% winrate on her in bronze and you can play her in top bot and jg. Wukong is also really good if u wanna learn him heres the youtube channel for allorim; a challenger player that mains wukong: https://www.youtube.com/user/AllorimLoL . He has most match-ups for top and mid on his channel. You can also jungle wukong and the ganks are really good at 6. To be honest you should play more vi tho because you have a 60% winrate with her.

One thing you should work on is csing if you practice csing and get good at it just that alone can get you into silver imo. Practice in custom games and bot games it may be really boring but csing is really important in this game. A good cs number to strive for is 60 cs at 10 minutes that is good enough in bronze but if you can get 80 cs in 10 minutes that's great. Then you gotta keep up in csing like having 150 or 160 cs at 20 is really good.

Short version

I favor Nocturne Gragas Hecarim Rengar to carry games, by virtue of their versatility, reduced team dependency and superb scaling. They can also farm well, which grants much-needed reliability.

(Long version below, find your favorites. I explained my logic as best I could.)

Bruisers Hecarim Vi JarvanIV Gragas XinZhao Udyr

They scale well and can deal damage in addition to being able to initiate effectively. They fill a tank-ish role while maintaining effectiveness through good scaling and have significantly less team dependency than full tanks.

Gragas is one of the best but be very cautious as he is more difficult than you'd think to use at maximum effectiveness. udyr can farm and scale well, and Xin Zhao can build damage, tanky or bruiser. He can also peel exceptionally well, should you get a carry fed.

Tanks Chogath Malphite Amumu Nautilus

Tanks are tricky, because you can set plays up perfectly, but you still need your allies' help to pull the trigger and reap the fruits of your labor. That being said, I can never say a word against the effectiveness of a strong initiate, and Amumu, Malphite and Nautilus bring it.

Another weakness to be mindful of, especially with late game scaling tanks such as Cho'Gath, Amumu and Malphite, is that they're weak pre-6 and their ganks are sub-par until then. Your allies likely won't help if you're counterjungled, your dueling is fairly poor and your farming is average at best. If your lanes start to fall apart, they can't put out the fires as well as you might hope.

That all being said, they can set up plays and win games. Just be aware, you will need decent cooperation from teammates to reach maximum effectiveness. Cho'Gath is an oddball here. He maintains high levels of damage, some of the best objective control of any tank (You won't be out-smiting his 1k true dmg ult) and he scales exceptionally well.

Mages Diana Fiddlesticks Evelynn

Slim pickings right now, but these both scale well, and Diana farms pretty well. Both need 6 to gank well, and Fiddlesticks is a poor duelist. I also question the wisdom of picking Diana, since she's a dive assassin, and certain other picks do this better. Still, she sticks hard and farms quickly. Fiddlesticks in a teamfight is utterly devastating when you land a good ultimate, so definitely don't overlook that. Evelynn's ganking is insane, so if you want to hunt down opportunities, she's solid, especially in lower ELO where nobody knows how to react to her properly.

MADCs Jax MasterYi Fiora

MADCs, or melee AD carries, are probably not very welcomed, but they can carry hard. Yi is hard to master, and the other two are risky. I'd warn away from these, but if you have a tanky top and tanky support, and provided you know how to use them effectively (Practice), they can carry games pretty hard.

Assassins Nocturne Rengar Shaco

These are my go-tos if I feel the need to carry a game. They snowball incredibly hard, and they are excellent at picking off lone targets to get a lead. They can build bruiser (Which I strongly recommend after you get some damage items to prevent dying and giving the lead back) but these guys are always a threat. Nocturne and Rengar farm well, can kill a fed enemy very well, snowball hard, scale well, teamfight well and are the two best pick assassins in the jungle, in my opinion. Land some picks, take objectives and you can snowball unfathomably hard.

Shaco is the odd man out here. He's a control jungler, but at the same time functions like a carry jungler AND a pressure jungler. He kind of fits into all three categories of the jungle trinity. He's also incredibly hard to learn, insanely hard to master (See what I did there?) and very much hated by both teams. However, there's no denying a competent Shaco will piss off the enemy team and carry a game. His split pushing is fantastic and his ganks are some of the most terrifying (I'll be here all week) around.

Final Thoughts

Really control the objectives, which is dragon early on. Ganking bot/mid the most is ideal, as it will allow you double up on rewards. Get a kill PLUS dragon. Top is fine, if you see an opportunity, and the top lane snowballs pretty often, but your focus early game should be to get towers, dragon and kills.

Also, NEVER FORGET TO CS. They are worth several kills worth of gold. You should aim for at least 80 CS by 20 minutes. I usually aim for 100, but it will depend on the game. If you're ganking and securing objectives frequently, your farm will be lower. Remember, if you aren't in the middle of ganking a lane, you should be CSing.

I prefer bruisers and assassins, since bruisers can go bruiser or full tank, and assassins can focus on damage or go bruiser. That versatility is really nice in my opinion. That said, some swear by tanks and mages, so just find what you're comfortable with.

Finally, wards are control. If you ward the jungle and objectives, you can control them far more effectively. Never forget to upgrade your trinket, and wards will both reduce deaths and increase kills. Don't go overboard, but they really, really do help.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have over 1k games as a jungler.

Vi is an okay choice.

Tryndamere is a good champ to carry with IMO. People in bronze (and even silver) often don't know how to handle a well-farmed (and possibly fed) Tryndamere splitpushing top and bot all game.

Recently had a game where my Maokai laning opponent TP'd to bot or whatever to team fight with his buddies and didn't accomplish much. In that time I pushed down the first tower top and almost got the second one before I had to back off. I run ghost and either TP or ignite, depends on who I am laning against.

the champion you enjoy playing the most.

kogmaw...he's got everything he needs to carry with the team

If you are looking for a champ you can play in the jungle and in solo lanes, I would say panth, hec (although he is banned a lot), and Kha, and rengar. You can play most of them in multiple lanes and they can carry hard if ahead.

DrNova5/23/2015, 2:28:56 AM1 votes

As a jungle you should be trying to carry by feeding lanes, not so much getting kills yourself.

Gank smart, and try to let the lane get the kill. Puts them ahead, enemy behind. Jungle's generally survive easy off of assists and jungle income/XP, while lanes could use that kill alot more then you can. Imo

Amumu is easy to carry with in jungle for low elos

Vi and Mal are good. I main Tryn though. I don't know if you would pick him up fast enough or not
