If balancing around pro play as a practice hasn't worked in 2011, and still isn't working in 2019...

Then has Riot considered that the playerbase is a major factor, too? I'm not saying "balance around low elo", hell no. But I also don't like this constant practice of alienating average players because they're not gods. On paper, balancing for pros sounds like a good idea. They're the best of the best, winning tournaments and consistently top ranks. But here in lies the issue; The majority of us aren't like them. If 63% of total ranked players are at Silver/Gold, in what significant way are they going to adapt to these changes intended for people completely out of their league? Especially when they're your main source of income. Perhaps, a change in the balance philosophies would make the playerbase a less toxic environment when discussing game balance and stop this stupid practice of labeling anyone below dia 2 as "Trash" "Garbo" "Rando" "No-name" "Silver LUL" "SO BAD"

Yeah, a lot of us get it. We'll more than likely never be on their level. But, the lack of respect for your fellow summoners is disappointing. Again, I'm not suggesting balancing around low elo. I'm just saying, take the other tiers of ranked into consideration before forcing LCS crap on everyone when they'll probably not have a healthy impact on the outcome with these changes.

Maybe I just hate false superiority complexes over a non existent occurrence on a screen.

it's more of a "flip-flopping between balancing for pro play and balancing for pleb play" problem

But these changes aren't (always) a pro issue.

Corki, azir were busted for high elo as well. Ryze, azir, zoe, akali, irelia, sylas all super busted in high elo too.

It's not like Every champ that gets nerfed is only done so because of pro play
