Explaining Seasonal Chest

Most people don't seem to know it possible to get HexTech Chest even when your weekly chest is on cooldown, or how to get an double chest is pop up sometimes. This is where most people never review or covered what is an Seasonal chest is , as most know the only way normally to gest an Chest is getting atleast an S or S- or even an S+ on the team. but Seasonal Chest are Abit different.

Seasonal Chest are reseted normally every start /end of the season of the game, So this is how Riot will be having players play champion mastery 5 they just bumrushed, or people to play more then 1-3 champions.

Seasonal Chest will Reward you for get mutli-Grade of S's in an Row, and S- , While S+ will generally give you the Chest right away. And You don't even have to be Rank mastery 5 on the champion to get this, this mean the lowest mastery rank is an 2, as normally an single S+ would jump mastery level 1, to an 2.

I play an decent amount of time and people asking me how I am getting Chest still while my Weekly cooldown is still down, and Also how it possible i had so many chest Already without buying any on my stream.

I try explaining this in better detail, to even people in game asking me why i'm lying when I talk about Seasonal chest, but i'm honestly not.

Seasonal chest are once an Season claim and i'll have to wait til refresh before I can do the champion season chest again , but across many games many people won't ever get an Seasonal Chest if they are just bad and not getting high Grades, on the champion , while other who just spam their few champion won't ever unlock season chest unless they an top notch player. and this where the game has an mini task for players to improve.

but no1 really ever talk about seasonal Chest before and after the hextech release and this is why Riot said whatever your grade were before the hextech chest were added wouldn't have matter (aka getting the chest autoly) .

I show some example in the video and explain to my best for people, and I just find it rather sad when i'm playing games and when I get an season Chest but no real key fragments, for getting mutli S+ in row while leveling an champion mastery while I just pretty much just fill. Roles and stuck support mainly to max those up 1st it seems , even if I perfer an other role more, I gotthe skill level for morethen an single role so i don't limit myself, but fill does seem rather stupid when it support, after support , and time when I don't get support people who do get support beg and whine for other roles to the point they Troll games overall.

but I digress, I do that in reports anyways, but. I hope this help people know more about seasonal Chest and maybe Riot would do something for people like me , who get S/S- and S+'s very often to put more value beside the Seasonal chest as rewarded options, while most may not think much of it, and key fragment I rarely ever get, even those I get S's every game generally I barely get any keyfragments and while my friend who play with me are getting keyfragments left and right while I get nothing for all my S's I do get while with them. not to mention an S+ would be an 100% chance if you got the seasonal chest Already.

This seems to be based on a lot of misunderstanding.

You don't get a chest for getting mastery 5 on a champ at all.

Getting an S rank (S-, S, S+) does guarantee a hextech chest, provided you're eligible for one on that champion. Being eligible mean you have one of your weekly chest slots available, and you haven't earned a chest on that champion yet this season.

Not that the weekly chest slots are not separate from the season chests as you're implying. It's impossible to get two chests from a single game as a result, as the first one would void your eligibility (as you'd already have earned a chest on that champion by the first one).

Theres no randomness involved in getting chests; if you (or someone in your premade) gets an S grade and you're eligible on that champ, you'll get one. If you(/ your premade) only have a highest grade of an A+ (or anything less than an S-), then you won't get one. It's not a higher grade->better chance thing.

Meanwhile key fragments are random, and completely independent of your mastery grade. You can only get fragments on game wins, and you have a higher chance if you're in a premade, but your actual performance makes no difference to your chances.

I agree that it would be nice if getting an S+ on a win guaranteed a key fragment, but that's not how it works currently. For those who are adept on a range of champions, this does mean that people will likely find themselves with more chests than they can open with key fragments, which is somewhat frustrating, but it's hard to complain too much about free stuff.
