This is why alot of streamers are pushing the idea in their how to climb content, that you really need to start checking stats and dodging. If you'd OP.gg'd your team there it should be obvious to you that you lose that game. It's a shitty unfun solution, but it's really only work around till they stop breaking their game.

They need to do away with the MMR Systems, otherwise whats the point of ranks?
If you're Plat II, you should be matched with Plat III - Plat I with Plat IV & Diamond IV being the outlying ranks most of the time.
People who are bad won't stay for long and those that are good enough will be able to stick around while the baddies fall.
Promos should be replaced with a similar system for Challenger.
Earn points and if you earn enough before the day change, you move up
If you lose points before the day change, you go down.

I'm sorry you and those silver players had to go through that because if you think about it, everyone suffered. You had to be weighed down by team mates with far less experience and they were forced into an unfair fight. I agree, this is just horrible matchmaking and every single player on a team suffers because of it.

Maybe there are not as many players than before, so Riot has to hide the fact that the game is dying through a shit matchmaking system?
Always opgg your team. Take the first two dodges. If you've dodged twice already find a premade to dodge for you. If you can't, stop playing for the day.

A while back I had someone who played 2 ranked games in season four and 4 ranked games this season. In my vs gold-plat players. On my team. We won but hell she had 36 CS when the enemy Vayne had 96 CS.
Matchmaking in general is bad. But what irks me the most is how I get matched with someone who goes 1/9 and just permanently pushes one lane yet the entire team is punished for being matched with this person. We should honestly be punished less when someone on our team performs extremely poorly when it's not a premade but I can see this system being abused somehow.
One of the things ive seen RIOT say to try and "counter" this argument, is that you are matched with people of Similar MMR (which is intended) but all that proves is that the ranked system then is BROKEN, if a silver 1 player on my team has the same MMR as me a Gold 1 player and an enemy plat 4 player .... then WTF are the ranks for? this means that the system is not functioning right.
A silver a gold and a plat should all not be inside the SAME RANKED game, thats a huge sign of a broken system, if the MMRS are the same then that means the ranking aspect is wrong and needs to be re-evaluated. and yes I had this game the other day multiple times where silver players are on my team against plat players on the enemy team.
You know the real weirdest part is when that Bronze player who plays in your game does better than some of the other people in your ranked game. But yeah the ranked system is pretty broken in the sense of wtf is the point of ranks if mmr determines matchmaking I mean and we have divisions and stuff so wouldn't it make sense to just have you face off against people based off rank.
Well this isn't really the fault of the ranking system. The guy who went 0/16 was Gold the past three seasons. It looks like he's intentionally deranking and throwing games. It's definitely reportable because he obviously belongs in Gold MMR and is intentionally feeding so he loses.
My advice would be use Op.gg's multi search in champ select to check for outliers like this guy and then dodge if no one else does. Even if you're in a series it's not worth playing a 30 minute game with someone who is intentionally throwing games.
