Does katarina's Passive Activate If She Kills Someone With GA

no because it doesnt count as a death, however her passive will reset if she kills someone who was yorick ulted
No. Ferocity resets on a KILL or ASSISTS (within 3 secons) GA "death" doesn't count as "dieing" neither does being revived via zilean ulti (same effect) or aatrox, anivia, zac passive don't count as deaths until you "kill them" during or after the revival. Yorick ultimate on the other hand requires the champion to LITERALLY die for it to have "revenge" if they dont die the ghost is just there for the duration waiting for them to die or till it disappears.
