Either revert the rework into his original kit with the Null Zone so that way he cannot be oppressive in bot lane with his voidlings, or take the power away from Voidlings into his E or R.
Meddler has hinted that there will be nerfs to W, with a delay in summoning Voidlings and a slow if they move to far from him, which to be honest doesn't really do anything to stop his obnoxious playstyle in bot lane...

theres probably a reason but im shocked as a malz main people dont just:
Playing morganna. spellshield makes his ult useless and mitigates almost all his poke early, puddle easily removes his passive, if he does ult he sets himself up for your ult unless HE breaks channel (he will also be standing in your puddle)
rush mikaels crucible to rip his ult + add a nice heal for your adc.
literally just cc him when he ults? most sups have a stun/knockup. with so much range in bot his passive shouldnt be up THAT often. literally hit him once every 30 seconds and he'll never have it up ever after the initial one till mid game. ok i lie he will when he comes from a B
