My issue isn't the higher west coast ping...

...but the fact that it been fluctuating so wildly. Loading into a game I'll show an average of 69-80 ping, which is up about 20 from where I was before the server migration started. So, not bad, really. I can easily play at this range.

What's constantly screwing me over is the fact that every. single. match. I've been experiencing large spikes in ping, sometimes two or three a game. It's not my connection, I've made sure of that. I assumed that it was a result of the migration itself and that it'd settle down once it finalized. So far, no dice. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this going to be the new normal?

Having the same problem. Sent a support ticket in to see if they know what's up. I don't mind playing at 60 ping, but when I suddenly can't move during a game altering teamfight, that's a bit of an issue.

I generally had that problem before the move, Dc'ing real fast (not in game but disconnecting the wifi/lan) then connecting again seems to fix it. Might have to do with your isp also, I would submit network logs to the Chicago Network Logs or check if your ISP has been partnered using the Clinic Megathread.
