That Moment You Realize Ezreal Is Better Off Without the Sheen Item Family

Since season 1, everyone has built Ezreal with a sheen and has tried soo hard to build around that item, not realizing that this is just good for poke potential. it has no other benefit besides wasting time and trying to look badass by kiting a whole team into chasing someone who does little damage against tanks late game. why is it that we are so stuck on one item? i started testing things out, and I've noticed that rapid firecannon helps create a whole different world of frustration when it comes to kiting with Ez.

I've been building Essence Reaver first, and focusing on a crit build going along the lines of and i cant tell you how much more sustain i have and how much consistent damage i do in teamfights. i keep mana to help kite with e, out range most auto attacks, and constantly have life steal to make playing ez a walk in the park. i've yet to understand why this build isnt an everyday build for Ezreal ADC.

The moment a Silver 4 thinks that they understand the game better than professional players. I don't normally bring the rank card in but you definitely brought this one on yourself.

Ezreal's skills, especially his Q do not crit and because of that on hit effect like sheen and btrk are far more useful than going crit. I'm not saying your build doesn't work but claiming it's more optimal than triforce or iceborn is incorrect.

sheen works because you're supposed to spam Q in between your auto attacks

if ur gonna do a crit build why not just do shiv, it procs on your Q and it can still crit even if Q can't

Crit is a bad build on EZ because His Q can't crit, and it's his main source of dmg. With Ez's low attack range, if you are close enough to a team fight to consistently you are probably going to die.

Ezreal has a lot of burst built into his kit, sheen provides a lot of burst damage, and when you go blue build you also focus on poke.

Because his Q can hit from far away, and it will never crit. Therefore people tend to maximize that ability by building Mana and onhit, but with AD.

Triforce+manamune+botrk+lw out damages crit build easily and bust tanks tf are you smoking for ezreal?

Not to mention you still have room for a situational item like qss/GA
