To everyone stuck in Elo-Hell

Hey all!!

I just wanted to give a little help to all the players stuck in very low elo. Because I was there once, for a very long time.

In season 4, I was placed in Bronze 1. I've been stuck in Bronze all the way until the end of Season 6 where I finally got into Silver. This season I managed to reach Gold and hopefully Gold 3-Plat 5 by the end of the season.

There's a simple but VERY effective way to climb and it is very analogous to the following phrase:

"A chain is only as strong as its weakest link"

I believe this phrase, when put in league terms can be rephrased as such:

"You are only as good as your worst play"

The simple truth is, it's not that you don't win enough, it's not that you don't carry enough and it's most definitely not how many plays you make. It's the complete opposite. It's about how much cs you miss per game, how many silly mistakes YOU make, and how many leads YOU throw.

Once you REALLY and HONESTLY look at all these various areas that you're weak in, and in turn, fix them all, you will be very surprised to see how well rounded of a player you are.

For example, I used to have horrid horrible CS. I remember my bronze games and cringe. I don't have perfect CS yet but it's alot better, and hence so am I.

The above method is how to improve as an overall player, but if anyone wants a little tip on breaking bronze and silver, the answer is simple:

Bronze and Silvers weakness is the tense moments in mid (or anywhere really) where nobody knows when to engage. How take advantage of this? Play a champion that abuses these waits.

I chose AP Sona because she has a very high burst every few seconds, and a nice disengage/engage plus a heal for correcting team mistakes/misplays. But you can choose anyone similar. I like Sona because I can take her mid OR support if I get filled there.
