Why doesn't Orianna's ball leash on stealthed targets?

Watching her throw the ball on Kha'zix or Shaco, then having them stealth and jump into your carries from 1300 range is fun and has tons of counterplay.

Where said counterplay is letting your front lines 2v5 the enemy team, because you can't even get in range of their front line.
