Lore Of Legends, and interactivity.

After reading the really engaging pieces from the lore team at League of Legends, I can't help but wonder how lore could affect champions or actual gameplay experiences outside of new gamemodes or reskins of maps. Similar to the Ionia vs Noxus and how we got new items for it, I feel that new features/skins(or skin changes) integrated alongside lore would be extremely fascinating.

An example that I feel would be really awesome, is how in Taliyah's lore she gives something to Yasuo which changes his hairstyle (the thread). I feel that if Riot did an adjustment to his hair in game to tie in with lore and to really show meaningful impacts and character development would be absolutely amazing. While it sounds slightly unsignificant, to those that follow lore it'll be like "wow that's really cool, we can see that they actually met!". While I understand champion quotes represent this, I feel like it's not as significant as appearance changes or new gameplay features since players generally "play" the game rather than do "oh come on look at that, he said something in game to that champion with his joke". Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the champion quote interactions, but smaller details like the Yasuo hair integration would be great/more meaningful. Changing the base skin only slightly or adding a free/cheap skin to show this would be something really fascinating to see.

I'm also curious as to Riots thoughts on champion gameplay interactions with one another creating "events", mainly referring to Kha'Zix and Rengar. This event isn't an event that happens to often, but when a game with Rengar vs Kha'Zix comes along and that bounty for the ultimate predator comes up, this adds a real big sense of thrill and suspension in the game, even to the point of forcing teams to focus the enemy predator, and protect their own. I'm not counting the Ashe, Sej, and Liss event as it's simply a crown, not new ability/damage buff or something of the sorts, but it's something really cool never the less. Would Riot consider implementing more interactive events similar to Kha v Rengar between champions? I understand it needs setup, but it's extremely satisfying to some of us lore fans to see gameplay meaningfully interact with lore. A potential new event might be a Taliyah vs Azir event of sorts, for Shurima's freedom or the age of the emperor, resulting in Taliyah "completing her training" or "unlocking her true potential" in some way buffing her or something along the lines of that, or Azir gaining some sort of passive or unique gameplay mechanic. While I understand Azir did free the slaves, I feel this "misunderstanding" or "potential rivalry" would be extremely fascinating to explore. (this was just an example)

Last thing to follow up on gameplay interacting with lore, I would love to see some events or players interact with the lore more directly, genuinely influencing a direction of where the lore will go. I love how interactive Riot has been lately with asking the community what they want to see more of, myself and others would like to see more gameplay interaction that isn't "new gamemode" or "reskin twisted treeline", while those things are great, maybe something more visual/changing would be really interesting. While I do know Riot doesn't have unlimited resources, and that doing some of the things I mentioned might take up a fair amount of resources, I feel the community would enjoy the game more and even attract players to read/engage in more lore and share their ideas.

That's just my two cents.

"The stories were true. I will follow this path until the end."
