Broken Match Making

I recently came back to LOL after playing various other games. I ques for a match and picked top / mid ...... i was put in jungle..... I dont have much experience in jungle but i figured i'd give it a go. Shortly after the game started our top lane was behind 0-3 , he proceeded to tyell at me to gank so i tried and failed . Top is now 0-4 and myself is 0-1. THE REST OF THE GAME MY TEAM BLOWS UP AT ME? i did not pick jungle , i picked top or mid , also i have been away from the game for 4+months and i was still shoved into an unfamiliar roll regardless of my extended length of time away from the game. Well ...... I personally would "after this experience" realize that the game is no longer new/returning player friendly. So I wish the best for LOL it is a fun game but currently the system is broken and the player base seems to be unaware of this and assumes any player matched with them must have current/relevant knowledge of the games current META. IT IS BROKEN AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED if RIOT ever expects the player base to be less toxic. GLHF ;)
