New crit changes nerfed adcs?

Seems that way to me too because of
changes. That item made crits sure, but at the cost of of %chance item. It was less RNG and more burst, but at least ADCs were critting. Now it's just back to RNG and I don't even see a reason to build
anymore.
These crit changes wouldn't be a bad thing if games were longer, but they're like 4 seasons too late.
well they had 4 items at 100% before since there first item was never a crit item.
You don't NEED 100% crit chance to be effective. In many situations, 50-75% is enough.
The point of these changes was to increase the early-mid game power of ADCs by letting them reach a big power spike in two items (IE/ER + Zeal upgrade) rather than three, making it viable to build the AD crit items early for when AD nets you more damage than attack speed, while also giving them a defensive option that isn't off-build.
