One of my friends is in bronze 4. Every time he wins he gets 5-10lp and when he loses he will lose like 20-25lp. This has been going on for a while and it seems like he is never going to get out because he will win 3 games and then lose one and lose all the lp he just gained. Considering the afks/trolls in bronze it happens like every other game you get one. Is this how the system is supposed to work? It seems weird. I get like 22 lp when i win games.
it's called mmr. You are playing vs worse players because you are losing vs better players so when you lose vs worse players you lose more lp and gain less because you should be winning vs them. If you get your win rate positive and keep winning you will eventually gain more than you lose
If you have a negative win rate you will continue to lose more then you gain until you win more then you lose it how it seems.
Its has nothing to do with rank, my friend in d5 went on a massive lose streak, lost like 150lp straight, and now only gets 12 win 24 lost. Its all about your win rate.
