Wouldn't it be better for Renekton's identity to have his ult to deal physical damage ?

Renekton has always been this character that got buffed to the point of OPness then nerfed and forgotten everytime, The big thing about Renekton is that it's fairly balanced, but it doesn't bring anything to the table,

So when his numbers are huge, he's broken, and when they're not, he's useless because other characters are going to do the same as he does, but better.

As far as laning goes Renekton is a bully mainly relying on his combo to deal damage, which is pretty standard, In Teamfights however, you want to use the empowered E to shred as much armor as you can (That is, unless you're fed enough to one shot one or two carries obv)

Since Renekton usually goes Black Cleaver, having Physical damage on the ult would give him this role of "Armor Shredder" character, he probably would become a bit OP since BC would give him Movement Speed on each tick, but Darius has a similar thing, and it's not a problem (with his passive)

Now I don't know how that would make for his numbers, but overall it'd feel much healthier for his identity, You can have a character Shredding Armor in AOE, that could be used in heavy AD teamcomps vs very tanky teams.

Of course that would require some tweaks to make him balanced number-wise,

But that does seem like a good idea to me
