So I have one shot every 80s which gets cleared by Zhonya. Let's forget the fact that Fizz has no wave clear, no sustain and his only harass QW hits less than Annie Q at lvl1.
Why do people insist on linking decisions they dislike to particular Rioters? This is why so few Rioters are around on these boards. If you dislike something just express your dislike for it, there's absolutely no need for you to name names.
Fizz is also one of the only Assassins to get what is essentially a free Zhonya's on a basic ability that also lets him leap over walls (or just leap in general) along with a dash.
I have an idea how to fix Fzz's ult problems without having to re-buff the kit itself. If his shark lands the killing blow, the shark "eats" the champion, and nourishes the shark, allowing it to grow stronger. As a result, the shark increases in size and the AOE from the ult gets bigger, along with the shark doing more damage. And this can stack cho'gath style.
Fizz players are starting to realize how op they used to be
While i do have a great dislike of Fizz, you bring up a valid point about his ult. I like that he has to use his ult in order to get a kill, since i think an assassin should need his whole kit to kill you...but that when he does it you WILL die without proper response. These were the first four that came to mind. Zed needs his ult, but it is targeted. Talon needs his ult, but it is aoe and not a skill shot Ahri "needs" her ult, but all the damage from it is targeted Akali needs her ult, and it is targeted
The CD being close to that of the hougrlass however isn't really worth mentioning. Since Zed and Talon would have to deal with the same thing, and hourglass is a even better item against them since it gives armor and they are AD. Soooo again, not even worth bringing up.
I'd be fine with Fizz getting a bit of his Q damage back in exchange for his E getting a longer CD, but i don't see them changing his ult.
I DO however, find it very strange that they take out the DFG...take the damage amp off of charm...because it is similar to DFG...then do what they did to Fizz ult. Its strange.
So what Fizz has a Zhonya's (Affects on him prior to using E still do whatever they would except for tristana E) as a basic spell? He relies on that spell to do anything so in order to keep him away from Urgot level it needs to be like a zhonya's.
i did the math on fizz at lvl 6, you burn 85% of your mana/resource to have a chance of doing 70% of their life and that is only if you land your skill shot ult that travels slowly. god forbid someone rushes zhonyas. Now the changes would be so bad if he was resourcessless but he is balanced as if he wasn't. Fizz can do okay in games with the right comp however if you literally replaced him with any other mid(maybe not worse then yasuo lol) they would be better and that is the problem.
Nothing really good of note you can really say about fizz atm.
I do agree that we shouldn't point out a specific rioter when we have no idea if they even proposed the fizz change or not. For all we know GC could of been against it.
