One late game mistake and you will have caused a loss for your team

This is what my (now) wife said 3 years ago to me, when I was playing low level gold. If you make a mistake in a late game teamfight, you will probably lose the game due to your mistake..

Now it's more like, if you make a single mistake in the early game, whether it's bronze or platinum, the game is lost, because now Master Yi or whoever will snowball out of control and you are unlikely to win. I have to admit I have capitalised on this by maining Evelynn, but it's not a fun way to play when a single and simple mistake can cost you the game or when someone else in your team makes the mistake for you.
