What would my placement ranked mmr be

Hey guys I'm about to start ranked in a long time again but I wanna have some idea about my placements mmr. So I quit ranked season 4 and I have a ranked mmr from that time. You know how the next season placement mmr is based on ur last season ranked mmr. Also people say how when you first start ranked, your placement mmr is based on ur normal mmr. But I haven't played for one season. So if I do placements again will my placement mmr be my normal mmr or ranked mmr from b4? Thanks!

I believe that the way it works is that if you haven't played ranked in over a season, that it gives you a hard reset, because of the fact that placements are normally based on previous season's MMR. Don't quote me on this as this is only an educated assumption. On a side note, I can say with 100% certainty that your normal MMR will not be considered when you are placed, as the two MMRs are always kept separate. Instead a base MMR that's apparently around Silver IV is applied when you start placements.
