2 Potential changes to LeBlanc to increase counterplay
All of the below is coming from the perspective of a LB main - I'm not some salty player who just got wrecked by a LB, I want to be able to play my champion consistently. Obviously a pretty drastic change would be needed to decrease her banrate significantly, as she's already received quite a lot of nerfs since the rework, but still is banned more than 95% of the roster.
Currently, LB sports one of the highest banrates in the entire game, along with one of the highest winrates. A lot of people's complaints come from the fact her E procs her sigil by itself, and her high damage overall. How would people feel about these two changes to her kit :
-LB can still prime her passive with any spell, but can no longer pop sigil with any spell other than Shatter Orb. This gets rid of some of the frustration from her long chain length since the chain length far outranges her Q. Now she has to be able to get to you once you're rooted to burst, as well as increasing counterplay in lane, where she is very oppressive and strong vs many champions.
-LB's RR is reworked where you click a spot on the map, and the clone spawns at her current location, lasting a maximum of 8 seconds. The clone will always walk towards the destination, then seeks out the nearest champion to use a fake spell. Currently, the global aspect and wonky nature of the clone makes it hard to use for the LB, and frustrating for the enemy. It is inconsistent, and there have been many times I've placed the clone in a lane to ward them off a turret, mere feet from a champion, but rather than walk towards the champion, it decides to walk towards enemy base and proceeds on a mapwide journey for no apparent reason.
To compensate for the above nerf, she's given the ability to juke from a bush when it is currently impossible to use the clone as such, and gives LB more control.
This decreases her lack of counterplay, while raising her skillcap and going with the deceiver theme.
