I suggest you to try the key binding i actually have, put lock/unlock option in space, always keep your thumb on, i usually use locked camera when i'm laning, because i feel better dodging skillshots, but i can easy press space to move camera away if needed, if you watch some streams u'll see that a lot of people use locked camera in certain parts of the game (but with a different key binding, the default one (keep space pressed to lock camera and release for move it)), GL ^^

EDIT: Ie: when you recall/die/walking back or you are in a safe zone u have to watch the map to know what is happening, where enemies are and things like this (i'm also sorry for language mistakes)
