You Don't Nerf Nidalee Because You Want To See If Tanks Can Fight Her, So You Nerf The Tanks?

This seems very hypocritical to me. Specifically calling out and mentioning Nidalee as a potential problem champion in the latest patch. But NOT nerfing her because you want to "wait and see" if the Tank Meta is going to challenge her at all.

So immediately following this patch you decide to nerf Cinderhulk in PBE, which was the bread and butter item that singlehandedly allowed Tanks to be viable IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Someone explain the logic to me. Because it seems to me at best to be a mistake and at worst to be an outright lie to say that you're gonna wait and see if Tanks can be viable against Nidalee, and then proceed to instantly nerf every tank in the game before even considering a nerf against Nidalee.

Really rito? Really?

First of all, they nerfed Nidalee in the previous patch by removing her percent health damage from Bushwhack, which reduced her clear times, damage to tanky targets, and objectives. I think there was another nerf involved, but I forget the specifics.

Secondly, the nerf to Cinderhulk isn't really that big (50HP). The main issue was that certain tanks (such as Sejuani and Amumu) were already viable picks before the changes and it significantly buffed them. It's a pretty minor tweak, which leaves tanks strong but might make them take a bit longer to build up.

Finally, the jungle meta changed significantly since pre-5.5 because Cinderhulk make many more champions viable junglers than previously. Honestly, I like the fact that RIot is taking a wait-and-see approach instead of making a knee-jerk decision, since it lets them gather more information instead of nerfing a champion who may already be having trouble.

Nidalee is going to be greatly affected by tank junglers returning to the meta. She may be good at poking, escaping, and bursting squishy targets, but she's always had issues against hard engages due to how squishy she is and her lack of CC. Since tanks typically bring a lot of hard engage and crowd control, Nidalee in particular will be affected more than many of the previous junglers (i.e. Jarvan, Vi, etc), so it's best to see how she handles them before taking action.

I'm not even a fan of assassins; don't really enjoy their playstyle in most cases. I much prefer tank junglers, but it's not like losing ~68 health from Cinderhulk is going to cripple them considering the great buff to their clear time and late game health they received.

Are you referring to the 50 health nerf to Cinderhulk as the "nerf to all tanks"? Because that isn't anything really.

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only to think that. That has to be the most retarded shit I've ever heard. It's the ultimate showcasing of Riot's laziness to enact meaningful change at worst, and a blatant disgusting display of favoritism at best.

They've been on my shit list for a while, but if they continue to pursue jungle tank nerfs after a single patch I will never forgive them. It is the most enraging double standard ever.

You're an idiot.

Tanks have always been the problem Tanks and champions like Sejuani Maokai determine fights too much the nerf is needed on tanks to make things more balanced.
