Just won 8 out of 10 provisional matches and was placed in gold 5. I thought you had to win 10 out of 10 provisionals for that?!?!?!?! But still, considering I carried/didn't feed most of my games, how hard will it be to climb up the gold ladder? Is gold like elo hell, where you can't escape?
I believe it just depends on how well you did overall and sounds like you did good.

yea i was wondering the same thing I went 7-3 in my provisionals and got placed into Silver 1 and I was really surprised I thought you would have to do a lot better to get to high silver out of the gate (I also just started league in July)
