What Riot did to Akali is funny in a sad way

They turned her into a AA AP Assassin which Sheen is core on, yet she doesn't have mana. They removed her W's resistances for worthless movement speed. They lowered the cd of her E, because we all know it costs nothing.

How does it feel having two useless spells and being forced to AA to make full usage of your Q? What's worse, it's hard to AA with Akali when all your spells but your ulti have this slow disgusting non cancellable animation.

Why should I play Akali who doesn't have an escape once she goes in unlike Katarina, Fizz, Ekko, Riven, Fiora, Zed, Ahri, Leblanc? Just compare Ekko to Akali and see how hilarious it is:

CC: 2.25 stun at rank 1 W vs Slow from W (LOL). AA steroids: 3 different AA steroids (Pass, W, E) vs 1 AA steroid (Pass) Waveclear: Decent waveclear vs No waveclear till you get decent AP and your E costs less energy so @lvl13 Mobility: Dash with gapcloser vs No dash but a Gapcloser with reset on kills/assists Others: Shield and heal vs spellvamp

Ekko also has an escape meanwhile Akali has a shroud that doesn't give her any useful stats or makes her immune to damage or helps her get away. How do you counter Ekko when he kills someone then presses R to get far away? You don't. How do you counter Akali when she kills someone then presses W? Upgrade red trinket/pink ward, spam spells or wait it out.

So Riot, you ruined her around January then gave her worthless buffs in June. When is the next update? Next year?

I have no problems with playing Akali lol. I like the MS a bit more than the resistances in actuality, because I've outplayed a lot more people with MS than when the resistances were there. So the MS for resistance trade wasn't worthless in my opinion.

The biggest problem I have is that her E doesn't trigger her Q anymore. But that's it. That's the only real change I'd like reverted. And Lichbane build was always a great build on her, it's massacred countless people since S2 with it. They also improved her ult so it puts you into lichbane range, which I like a lot.

akalis a bruiser, not an assassin i mean sure you can play her assassin but whats so fun about going in maybe killing a carry and then dying?

Poke in lane: Unrelyable and easily dodged vs. point & click with ok damage and low cooldown. Mobility: One small dash, situational blink, pretty long cooldown, situational ult vs. basically endless amounts of long range targetted dashes that do ok- good damage and reset. Overall damage: Only high if enemies cant dodge slow as shit Q and are stupid enough to chase into his ult vs. more than massive burst on barely any cooldown. Assasins dont need CC either, might as well say "Zed: Situational slow on E (LOL TRASH)." Wave clear is only really needed mid- late game and there she has more than enough of it (melee tho). Shes still good...

I think most of why she fell off is the rise of tanky/tough champs. She needs to snowball and its much harder for her. The skill tweaks are only a tiny part of her decline
