About Ranked Pairings

The last few games i've had i've taken a look at the ranks of both teams. I am Rank S2 not impressive by any means , however the last four or five games i've been in has had my entire team be Silver or lower and the other team feature two Golds. Normally this wouldn't bother me. the game that did get me was when i was paired with an entirely Silver Team and on person who wasn't even Ranked yet. Vs a team of two golds and all S1.

The last game i was in had my team of all Silver and their team of 3 golds and then silvers.

Is this normal, and can we do something to prevent someone who is unranked from being paired with a ranked team?
