Is Tank mid cancer?

Hey guys,

Im mid main and in the last time i had to play against many tanks. I normally play assassins like Fizz and Talon and its so fckin cancer to play against champions like Swain or Galio because it feels like you have no god damn kill pressure. If your enemy picks before you you could pick something like Vel'koz but if you full combo a Galio, that rushes spirit visage with Fizz and pull him just a quarter of his hp of, its so demotivating. But my biggest problem with tank mid is, that they still can solo kill you after an all in. Maybe just i have this problem, but pleas tell me your opinion about it.

Rock, paper, scissors. If you cant assassinate the midlaner, roam and assassinate the bot lane or top.

So a tanky mid-laner just happens to be the proper response to you picking an assassin. It's a counter, kind of. If you're facing something like this you probably need jungle help, and if they picked a tanky mid then they probably needed to put a squishy somewhere else, and your main target should be roaming to try and snowball off that. If they didn't choose a squishy to make up for the tanky mid-lane, then you will probably out-damage them mid/late and can just abuse that.

Your problem if you rely on cheese and people are learning to counter ^^

They can kill you early cause they have high base damages, and your still really squishy, but later on if they continue to build tank, they wont do any damage and your team will run right over them. Avoid the early fights and roam.. especially if youre an assassin.

Galio is in a very gutted state after his hotfix and nerfs. He is badly in need of his hotfix reverted.

Ok this may sound mean, but I promise I’m not being sarcastic. seeing as how Galio is the worst mid laner ATM and Swain isn’t really a tank as much as he’s a battlemage, I think it’s just you. Also take it from a level 7 Galio, the only time we can realistically kill you is by building AP burst and surprising you, not by building tank. Moves are way too telegraphed without summoner 4 to have kill pressure
