Crit Fortune Viability

The good variant of MF is clearly lethality right now and I thought it was just because of the meta being more early game. However, I've found crit. fortune struggling hard even in longer games where she should scale better. A huge issue is CDR. That's really the biggest thing stopping it from being viable. I think her R should scale down in CD a little with crit. chance. This would have zero effect on the meta variant of MF but it would make AA oriented builds more playable.

MF isn't a good crit ADC because she is 1) vulnerable and immobile 2) bursty (as opposed to dps oriented), has 3) mediocre dps, 4) mediocre target access.

vulnerable and immobile > will have a hard time staying alive in a prolonged fight to output consistent damage per second with auto attacks > low incentive to build Critical Chance and Attack Speed
bursty > most of her damage comes from spells which scale extremely well with AD and Armor Penetration > low incentive to build Critical Chance and Attack Speed
mediocre dps > no good steroid (her W is meh), low base AD > low incentive to build Critical Chance and Attack Speed
mediocre target access > mediocre range (550) and no mobility, making it difficult to reach/kill priority targets in a fight or kite with auto attacks > low incentive to build Critical Chance and Attack Speed

As long as none of the above points are addressed, she will never be a good crit ADC, which is fine by me, I like her the way she is now, not every champion needs to be identical.

because crit only takes 2-3 slots depending on if you want anywhere between 50-100% you have 2 other slots left over for CDR fixing. item 3071 instead of LW or item 3158 instead of Greaves if you really need it. There is also the Transcedence rune AND/or Prescence of Mind,UltimateHunter +Cosmic Insight (which is just as powerful as ult hunter due to how mulplicative vs total works)

in other words CDR is not the thing keeping crit Fortune from being good. the Champion just by design is 20x better with lethality due to her passive Double up and R. There is never really a world where Crit is going to give you better DPS than LastWhisper Lethal+ a StormRazor item 3095 . like even if you go conq and try to cheese out a 32% true damage R the numbers will STILL be inferior to just the raw shred power of LDR+Cleaver+lethal making your damage all but true anyways
