How to Predict an Enemy Jungler?

Title says it. It started when I discovered that item 3252 goes into item 3134 which is pretty nice if you can counterjungle which saves you 500 gold (THAT'S MORE THEN ALMOST 2 KILLS!)

So my question is how do I predict where the enemy Jungler would be? I understand where they'll be if they gank, but if they're silent, it's harder. Some Junglers like Amumu AurelionSol Evelynn will most likely start Blue because it offers a spamming of their abilities which is their main source of damage. Other's however like LeeSin Zac Shyvana can start EITHER Blue OR Red. They may not be mana dependent, but they can start blue because then it'd mess with counterjungling.

Then there's the factor if they'll do a "Full Clear" or a "Partical Clear". Some Champions go:

Blue/Red > Wolves > Blue/Red > Gank.

While other's will go:

Blue > Gromp > Wolves > Red > Birds > Rocks > Recall Red > Birds > Wolves > Blue > Grump > Recall

So, oh random users, do I predict where an enemy Jungler might be?

in short

if youre pushed up, deep ward

if youre being pushed in, stay healthy enough to avoid a dive if youre pushed in and low, well hes probably on your screen

It's all a situational thing that will vary game to game. To start with, you need to assess who the jungler is; that will tell you a lot about what will most likely occur. Ex. Amumu will probably not be invading your jg or ganking before 8ish or so minutes, while Graves will probably look for extended lanes to gank or to invade and duel you. This is also depends on who your jungler is or who you're jungling as. If you're, say LeeSin , then that Graves might need to be careful on an invade because he can get outplayed or just out-stat'd and die, while playing Fiddlesticks will most likely tell him that he can walk all over you for a while.

Then you need to consider where you could invade and potential laner responses; if your lanes are heavily shoved in, that could signal an invade because the enemy laner can follow the jungler much faster than your laner can.

Look at who's in lane at the start of the game, that can tell you who leashed, i.e. where they started. If you don't see top for about 10 or so second and they don't come from a bush top, then they were leashing and you now know the enemy jungler's starting point, and you can now guess where they'll go.

Also people tend to forget to go for a ward in the enemy jungle around baron, dragon and river. If you're a strong duelist (Graves LeeSin Khazix Elise ) then you can also go for deeper wards and feel safe, especially because you have flash and an escape on all those champs.

Also don't forget wards work 2 ways, they show you where enemies are and where they aren't. If you don't see the enemy around baron, then it's probably not safe to invade their blue side, for example, because odds are high that's where they are. You don't need to know exactly where the jungler is, but that kind of logic can tell you all you need to know.

Hope that helps.

Take your top laner with you and ward the top side buff, since their team will most likely be on the bot side. If they start top side, you know they'll be bot side at 3 mins.
