This matchmaking...

I'm not understanding matchmaking. My buddies and I started a 3v3 team and managed to get bronze 1. In solo queue we are silver 1, silver 5, and bronze 1. I think we were reasonably placed based upon our performance and skill levels.

It was to my surprise however, after getting placed, that we HAVE YET TO FACE A BRONZE TEAM. All teams we face have been silver or higher, with members who have very good stats solo queue. The match that prompted me to write this was our team vs a gold 5 consisting of a diamond, plat, and gold solo queue members. As you can imagine, we got destroyed.

Why? This is game breaking, and makes ranked a very un-enjoyable experience. Are there plans to fix this? I see others complaints of this, it's not just a small issue.
