Can the enemy team /Remake if your team gets the first blood?

Had a normal game with me as Azir mid against their Taliyah mid . It was a fair 5v5 routine game, and no one d/c'd at the time. About 1-2 minutes in, I decided to all-in the Taliyah and I barely pull off a first blood mid. Soon after, the enemy team surrenders, and it goes through.

Is this a bug/glitch in the system, Or is it now apart of the game? If the latter's the case, can I also exploit this?, because this really seems unfair...
