Your Champion Will Become The Next Karma, Riot Game Developer Comments (Proof)
Riot NeuroCat, the Developer in charge of the recent iteration of Karma that took them 6 years to actually work on, said a lot on Reddit today. As a whole the recent rework was negatively received. Instead of listening to feedback, rethinking the rework or even communicating about the changes in a meaningful way, Riot Game Developers are going through with a rework that is as unfinished, clunky and ignorant towards Karma mains just as it was 6 years ago with the VGU. The harsh reality of these VGU and reworks for unpopular champions is that Riot Game Developers are incredibly stubborn and refuse to rectify mistakes. It took Riot Game Developers 6 years to work on this champion and it still isn't successful. The VGU, excuses for the past 6 years and Riot Game Developer's ignorance towards this champion is the reason why there is a massive divide, conflict and bickering within the Karma community.
The majority of the community can sit here and say could, should, woulda. At the end of the day work will never be prioritized on a champion like Karma ever again, if not for another 3 to 6 years. There has been multiple attempts for the past 6 years to persuade and ask these Developers to communicate and work on mistakes they made on this champion. Work on Karma was put on the wayside and she has been in a constant sate of unfinished work and disliked by the majority of the community. Her kit is literally buffed every other year and then nerfed a few months later because the kit is trying to do too much but nothing for Karma herself. Karma's art is unfinished, her thematic is all over the place now, Karma's gameplay identity is a mess with three different playstyles that is the result of a poor work ethic, and constantly giving the community unfinished work on her.
These Developers had 3 times to rectify mistakes on Karma or even make the champion better: the VGU, the past 6 years, and the recent rework. All three times it have been a massive let down and another excuse as to why nothing is being completed or fixed on Karma. What makes the recent rework even worse is that the Karma community was actually asked to give their feedback, critiques and suggestions. They did it with no qualms towards Developers and thinking about better things for Karma. Not a single thing was used from the feedback post and it is the same work ethic she got with the VGU and the past 6 years. There is no more hope in trying to get Developers to do their jobs and be passionate about their work. They just don't care. Instead of doing actual work on problems and division created by them, Riot Game Developers are always trying to take the short way out of a situation with a handy dandy excuse. Enough is enough.

I really want you guys to be aware of your champions and push for change. If you don't, too much time will pass and there will be nothing but excuses as to why nothing is fixed or changed. Don't be like Karma mains and expect the best from a Development team that doesn't have the best interest of the champion and you at heart. The harsh reality is that these Developers have no problem ruining champion identities, taking abilities away and putting them on new champions, and not doing the necessary work to make unpopular champions better.
Work is done on the same champions every year. Work and content is now being prioritized on new champions. The decision to work on a specific champion is decided by how popular that champion is. The proof is in the amount of times Ahri, Lux, Ryze, Ezreal, new champions and so many other champions that are constantly being worked on every single year. Your champion will not get work done on him or her unless you fight for it.
I highlighted some things from Riot NeuroCat's post that basically insinuates that she wasn't aware of how this and that was going to be received, that Karma players (and so many other players) need to understand that their opinions don't matter over one specific playstyle, to accept what is given to them or wait for another rework, or just give up. It took these Developers 6 years to work on this champion and do relatively nothing on her with more excuses and a coulda, shoulda, and didn't even bothering doing when given the feedback.
HOLD DEVELOPERS RESPONSIBLE AND SHOW THEM YOU WANT CHANGE FOR YOUR CHAMPIONS. IT'S TOO LATE FOR KARMA.
