Sion outdmging illaoi in a extended trade?

So was playing illaoi, illaoi is pretty damn good at extended trade; constant healing from tentacles, multiple tentacles dmging u from everywhere, etc

so i decide hmm im 6 , i got my black clever let me fight sion, i lose, i did miss 2 q's but i didnt really think that was the reason i lost. ( maybe it was who knows :p )

sion had sunfire and ninja tabi and somehow he managed to deal more than me and i was so frustrated because why can he outtrade with just straight up tank? i dont know i find it so boring and unfun to play againist because even with 3 items i would barely just barely win

maybe its only me but oh well

Illaoi excel in teamfights and poke. For a melee champ, she's not usually in melee range. She's also not a real tank.

So if you fought a tank 1v1 over a long time has the cape when you have long cooldowns, you're just beating yourself there.

shoulda went item 3035 or item 3812 etc . Black cleaver is such a waste early game since no one's building arm even if it works on the pulled spirits.I think a item 3134 item 1028 would be way better than a low 25% arm reduction of low arm early for those squishies. Did you had Sion play dodge your e for 20 mins and if it hits he auto loses the trade minigame?

Armor completely shuts down Illaoi. Between his shield and the raw armor he had, he was able to out sustain you. I'm willing to bet he had Grasp as well? At that point, it's just a matter of dodging the tentacles that'll heal you for the most, and you're dead.
