Season 7 Changes Wishlist

I've seen quite a few discussions on changes that need to happen but have yet to see a consolidated change list. I wanted to create a single thread that contained everything and gather feedback on what changes people feel are needed broken down by role. Obviously the chance of this ever being looked at is low, but I think there's still some value to it.

If possible - I'd like people to offer up their logic when posting a change other than the simple mindless "nerf yasuo" comment. Obviously I can't enforce it, but it would definitely contribute a lot more. Now without further ado:

Top Lane

  1. Right now the best top laners are those who can abuse CotC and the ranged top laners like Jayce/Kennen. I'd like to see CotC scale with bonus health/armor/resistances so that it becomes more effective the tankier you are while reducing it's effectiveness off of just base value.

  2. Make Rift Herald actually matter - whether that be through giving it a global gold objective or some type of team wide buff; but fact of the matter I see many games where Rift Herald is simply an afterthought

  3. Increase tank diversity with the vanguard update. I have high hopes for the update (perhaps I shouldn't) but I hope tanks can become less linear than the whole "I dash in CC and essentially just sit there"

Jungle

  1. Reduce gold for each camp and decrease the overall jungle respawn time. This change should not reduce the overall gold. I want ganking junglers to actually pay something for an unsuccessful gank. Right now because timers are so long there's no point in playing a farm jungler -- you need to be able to gank and this is really pushing some junglers to the front and ignoring the majority.

  2. Bring cinderhulk and runic echo back on track with warrior. Maybe this isn't the correct change -- but I feel like AP and tank junglers are just non-existent anymore.

Mid

I actually have very few problems with the mid lane -- I think there's more champion diversity now than ever before. The main thing I would like changed now that Ghost has been addressed is exhaust. Remove the armor and magic reduction on exhaust and consider adding it back to ignite. You may need to nerf ignite accordingly but this change would help assassins not get countered so heavily by EVERYONE being able to use exhaust.

Bottom

I'm grouping bottom lane into one because I don't believe you can make changes to a role without affecting another:

  1. Give bottom lane turret the same damage reduction other turrets have. I realize that this change was to stop competitive lane switches; but this has caused so many issues with games ending early while actually not being very effective at the competitive scene.

  2. Lower the base damage and increase scalings on brand, zyra and malzahar. I don't want the champs gutted entirely but rather their "supporting" abilities. Brand's passive should scale more with AP, same applies to Zyra's plants and Malzahar's voidlings.

  3. Lethality on ADCs. I honestly am not sure if this is a necessary change but since so many people have mentioned it -- change lethality so that it's less effective on range (we could have range lethality scale from 40% and leave melee at 60%?)

  4. Create supports that have greater flexibility at the cost of damage and reliability. What I mean by this is have more of the CC be skill shot base or rely on landing multiple spells combined with other abilities that allow them to just be more exciting to play so that more people actually become interested in the role.

I think these are reasonable changes. Top lane has the be the most frustrating position to play because almost every champ has a matchup that your opponent can counterpick way too hard. At least in the other lanes or jungle you can play passively with certain champs and stay competitive. Top lane you are just going to lose if you pick first and the other guy knows what he is doing.
