cassiopeia rework idea
My goal is to make her thematically a snake whose poisons slowly weaken her opponents sapping at their resitances and then closing in for the kill. I took what I thought was important to her old kit and then added stuff that Stashu might like as a compromise.
Deadly cadence does make an appearance as her passive component on the ulty:)
Note: Numbers are very rough (probably on the high side), just to give an idea of what the kit might feel like in game.
Passive:** Serpent's Embrace** Context: Now works where the opponent gains stacks of a debuff based on how long they have been poisoned (don't know what the numbers should be). This gives Cassiopeia a "stacking" passive that better serves the theme of what her poison does.
Applies a stack of aspect of the serpent for every 0.5s that an enemy is poisoned (by Cassiopeia) reducing armor and magic resist slightly for every 2 stacks. There is no hard limit to how high this debuff can stack, however it falls off rapidly after 5 seconds of not being poisoned.
Edit: Because this has the potential to be very oppressive, the numbers are going to be low (around 0.5 ar/mr per 2 stacks scaling up to about 1.5) so that the opponent needs to be poisoned over a very long period of time to have had their ar/mr reduced at level 1 you need to be poisoned for 30 seconds to have had your ar/mr shredded by 15.
Q: Noxious Blast Context: With the power budget back out of her passive we can make Noxious blast scale better with AP making it a better buy.
After a 0.5s delay all enemies in a small area are poisoned dealing 75/115/175/220/275 (+0.8 AP) magic damage over 3 seconds.
Still has the Movespeed bonus.
W:Miasma Context: Allows Cassiopeia to have an ability to escape in dire situations that also serves as a way for Cassiopeia to close the distance and kite more efficiently. Adds an aspect of zone control that she can bring to the team. This gives her a "utility spell" that she needs.
Slow changed to 35% at all ranks Damage lowered to 7/12/18/22/25 + (0.05 AP) per second (lasts 7 seconds) New Utility: Dashes/Blinks cannot be used (flash is can still be used) while the enemy is inside of miasma.
E:Twin Fang Context: changing it from a bread and butter into a nuke spell (with serpent's embrace). Offers strategic choice of do "I use twin-fang as a nuke or use it as spam knowing that it will reduce my DPS significantly?"
Removed: Mana refund on killing an enemy
New Utility: Using twin-fang consumes serpent's embrace to deal bonus damage based on how many stacks the opponent has acquired. Bonus damage is 5/10/15/20/30 (+0.01 AP) per stack. Can only be triggered once every 15 seconds on the same target.
Damage changed to 75/95/120/135/150 (+0.5 AP)
R: Petrifying Gaze Context: new utility passive that we all know and love.
New Utility: Deadly Cadence: Casting spells (except this one) reduces the mana cost of all other spells by 5/7/10% stacking up to 5 times.
Edit: This is meant to cause discussion, what could be improved and does this preserve cassiopeia's initial identity while making her a more modern champ?
