Runes not selected?

I decided to play Pantheon, so of course I went Aery and built a whole rune page around it. But when I got in game it selected me Glacial and other things I don't use. It made laning a living hell off of less poke and damage. I just wanted to know why is this bug still a thing? I've had it happen to me 4 times in the past month. Kinda makes it hard to play with.
