I've had my bad days in League and been chat restricted a while ago. When Hextech came out, I've had the message pop up that I'm ineligible to earn loot because of previous bad behavior. My question is how long do I have to wait to start earning loot when I get my S rankings? It's been a while now, and I'm no longer still chat restricted, nor have I been in several weeks.
Yeah no real statement from riot about it. they just say you have to show that yo uhave reformed.
I believe it's around 2-3 months, but don't quote me on that, and at the very most I suspect it would be 6 months. Although there is a possibility that it could be 1 year similarly to the yearly mystery skin, but I really doubt they would punish you that harshly.
2-3 months? That's ridiculous, League of Legends has some of the most toxic players in online gaming and a chat restriction is hardly a harsh punishment. But to miss out on a potential 8-12 Hextech chests just for that?
