Everybody hates losing their series and sometimes its just cause they lost. But it's really annoying when you lose cause it's a 4v5 when your teammate dc'ed. I know this is mostly a bronze thing but idk if you can detect if the losing team had an afk and not make them lose part of their series cause of that it'd be nice. And if the other team winsause of that it's not exactly a win of skill.
Be patient and let the system work itself out for AFKers. Nothing is worse than losing your series because of something simple like that but most of the time you cannot do much to prevent it yourself so do not stress yourself about it. You will get to where you want to be if you keep pushing through.
AFK's can be detected easily. It's figuring out WHY someone was AFK that's the issue. If there was a system that prevented you from losing a series because you had a DC, it would be nothing to just have your duo partner drop when things aren't looking so hot.
Systems like this would be in place already if it wasn't so easily abused.
This is part of riot added the feature to allow proper MMR players to skip promos if they keep having bad luck with them.
I think if you just cool off for a bit and continue to play...once you raise your rank you'll get eventually better teammates with more knowledge of the game but remember.....A LOT of people have the same problem as you. So it'd be selfish to ask riot just to fix your games and not theirs. We all have to kind of just live with it and push on.
