Someone help me with my ping

So it's a normal day, i log into LoL and get into game. The first 10 minutes of the game are sweet, 40 ms, lane's going well with my jungler ganking and warding for me and bot's winning so we're set to win at this point. I hit the 12 minute mark and BOOM, fluctuating ping going from 200 to 600 ms with no reason for it - no one else is on the internet at home, the only thing running is LoL and Spotify (offline) and when i check the Task Manager and shut off steam to make sure there's not download it says that under the memory bit LoL is running at 1,100 MB. As a casual nerd I have a vague understanding of what ms and ping is but beyond that it's a different language that i don't understand but all i see is the 1,100 figure and the box outlined in orange and i know that something is up ( as if the 600ms wasn't a give away). I figure that it's just a one-off so i chill for a bit, watch a few videos and do some work only to get into another game; again the lane's going well, bot's doing amazingly and even though they probably have a better comp we're set to win if we can close out early however, yet again, hit the 13 minute mark and BOOM 600 ms is here to stay. I check the Task Manager and again it tells me what it said before.

If anyone has any advice as to what i can do, what any of this means and if it is a fault on my end and not a problem with Riot's servers (don't see why it would everyone else was doing fine) then please do comment because as of right now, i'm at a loss for words as to what i can do. Any help would be appreciated and so thank you in advance for any helpful comments whatsoever
