Possible Grievous Wounds Balance Idea
I know GW is a pretty polarizing topic for a lot of people, and I’m not really super for it or against it, but I have a very mediocre idea that could meet somewhere in the middle and I’m not sure if it’s been suggested before and also I just wanna know other people’s opinion on it:
Change it from 40% reduced healing to 20% reduced healing and shielding.
Obviously the percentage could be tweaked but in my mind splitting the effectiveness of the effect will stop completely hard countering certain healing champions with very simple and cheap buys and soft counter the healing and shielding play style a team comp might have especially when there are a decent amount of items that increase healing and shielding power.
is fine, it's a good tank item sure but it isn't core you have other options here, the GW part is only 1 second on being hit it gives the enemy agency over whether they are affected and it is a very short time
while this one has a condition the duration makes it not fine, it guts your healing for the remainder of the fight if you drop below 40% hp and gues who is buying this? Champions with burst. .
It's also bought 95% of the time
is the biggest offender imo, it doesn't have any sort of condition and lasts almost as long as morellonomicon, it's pretty much bought everygame. and it synergizes so well with runaans derp derp enemy team can't heal at all
