By removing the ranked rewards of about half of your playerbase for petty crimes, you are just showing you have no interest in improving players. If you wanted to reform people, you would still give them rewards, however this additional punishment for crimes already served and lessons already learned is just salt on the wounds. Toxic players will continue to be punished with chat restrictions, bans, and other things you have made up, so why would removing end of season rewards help?

In addition this will punish people with poor internet, which god only knows is half of the united states playerbase. RIP Comcast, TWC, and other horrible cable subscribers, your border and victorious skin lay dying in a corner.

This is ridiculously arrogant by Riot Lyte to think that this move will change players, it won't. It will make people leave your game for your competitors.

GG Riot. If you continue down this path of automated totalitarianism, I can't wait to see your game lose players faster than World of Warcraft.

Oh wow, thats lame. Especially since they use an automated system now. So if you ever got chat restricted by the 100% automated system, you suddenly can't get anything? Thats weak.

I have possibly been chat restricted for a couple games before/during February. If I'm going to be penalized for it and risk losing all the hard work I've put into trying to get Gold (and I'm almost there too), I will not only be furious but will indefinitely leave the game. Yes I made a mistake a long time ago, but I am not "toxic", so why punish people who may have had a bad day or two?

Not to mention that it's already been proven the system is abused as fuck and people will report each other over anything.

Lyte is just the eptiome of stupid on how to fix players, He thinks automated punishments that are delivered instantly (without a real person looking into them) will solve everything, bashes the fact that there is a mute button (also on the mute button it doesnt even keep people muted in post game lobby)

and he has the idea of "neutral and toxic players get banned only very positive players who are still super happy even if they lose tons of games are allowed to stay"

I personally dont like it and ive been punished (IMO) wrongfully many times

Lyte acts like hes some kind of a god who decides who is eligable for what with 0 knowledge of real issues.

Instead of creating something like an agreement where players have to agree to "You may meet players who are extremly toxic, if you agree to unmute say yes, if no, uninstall lol".

Lyte dont understand that 3/4 of LoL community are kids who jump to each other throats for one purpose - to make Riot punish them for a game they lost, and Lyte only helps them.

OR alternativly, if someone has reached silver/gold/plat/diamond/master , stop playing because you might get something stopping you from getting ranked rewards. Have a bad game? Get trolled by a duo queue? RIP your rewards.

I've read that only the worst of all player get no rewards.

It's fair that people who have a bad behaviour ingame gets no reward!

"we want to do this" rito games yesterday "we are doing exactly the opposite" rito games 1 hour after "we know what we are doing" rito games today

that's the entire rito we want this but we will do this ... we want to encourage that with this change but those things are allowed to fk our mentality

riot at its fines .... a company that either changes its mindset every minute to something completely opposite ... or implements their mindset to a small array of things while allowing the rest to defy it

and they dont even try to hide it ... they handle this game like some tinkerers ... we will tweak here here and here and this might work thats their only universal mindset

while the stable mindset is what the game needs

changes are meant to bring the game closer to the way you want it to work ... not to just change because you need to do something in order to not look idle

If people are solely playing for the ranked rewards, they should probably stop playing anyway. That means that person is not enjoying game for what it is.
