in my opinion jayce was a damn beast in early laning phase and late game , His empowered Q E combo deals so much damage and he uses it to often and i thought that it was unfair for a basic ability to deal such insane amounts of damage but they increased mana cost on his E and Reduced damage on his Q and i think it was pretty balanced because even with these nerfs he is still gonna be a beast late game , but what do i know :D
yea but now people will just play quinn lol
sad because none of the nerfs will do anything to him they decreased 30 odd base damage not any scaleing and increased his mana cost but jayce's problem was never in his melee form but rather than he can get you to low then change to melee then change back to ranged with out any conciquinces. swain had the same problem with his ult had no down time he could activate it back off then it would be right back up now it has a 20 second cooldown thats a nerf. not 30 base damage from a move you never use except to do a quick combo to kill off already low health targets and a very slight mana incease when jayce hardly manages mana to the point where he has dropped the item he needed before to give him more mana because with damage creep so high you dont need q spam anymore auto attack from out of enemies minions range when the enemy goes in to farm.
