URF is more helpful then we think

URF mode for the most part is about having fun, Win or lose. URF personally gave me the chance to use new champions and even champs in free rotation. As someone who started playing in October in 2014 and doesn't own even half the champs, It gave me an opportunity to see what other champs could do. I think this is a game mode where you can "Train" and have fun at the same time. Just make sure you ban the right champs or you'll be one shotted before you can use an ability. Leave comments on how URF has helped you.

I agree that URF seems to have had "secret training" built into it. I have notice that my last few normal games I have died far less, and it feels much easier to dodge skill shots. I believe this is because of all the "training" I had trying to dodge 5 million skillshots every game in URF.

URF didn't really teach me anything this year, but it did when I played it last year.

Before URF I didn't quick-cast anything and I couldn't play assassins. During URF I tried using LeBlanc for the first time, and quickly discovered I couldn't click the buttons fast enough to drop my combo before getting blown up. After having that happen a few times I started to quick-cast everything and discovered that I could actually play an assassin. I don't play any assassin regularly, but now I can.

I agree too. I went from having little practice with Nid when it comes to the whole spear -> cat dive thing to becoming a complete menace with her. xD It helped me out a bunch with Lux too, who I had just purchased at the beginning of URF but hadn't yet had a chance to really play. In general, URF was great for repeatedly playing the same champs since the super sped up environment and crazy low no-cost CDs = lots of extra casts to practice aim/positioning/etc for me. Removing those limits definitely lets you become acquainted with all of your champion's skills much faster I think. I feel like in general, my aim and definitely dodging skills certainly improved quite a bit by the time URF ended too. xD Especially when it came to evading Hec, Sona, Ez, Kat, and Zed, ahaha. x_x

I learned how to smart cast and how to land trickier skillshots while also learning how to dodge better.

I got much better at skillshots, much to my surprise. To be honest, I'm mechanically challenged to say the least, but after spamming Morgana in urf so often, I found myself landing a lot more binds.

Sadly, the drawback is that normals and arams feel like they are happening in slow motion.

Played Galio all the time in URF and set W to always self-cast....Now I fail horribly because I forget to turn it back to normal and only shield myself instead of allies
