I just wanted to say there is no reason to buy cull. The 400 gold you earn from its passive doesn't make it worth it or earn more gold. Rather you lose 50 gold. The doran blade is more worth as the cull gives 5 ad and 3 life steal and hit while doran blade gives 8 ad, 80 hp, and 3 lifesteal. Heads up! Don't buy the Cull!
When you sell it it makes up for itself, slightly. I don't like it much, but it isnt a 50 gold loss necessarily.
I would also say don't buy Cull, but because laning is important.
Cull gives 3 life on hit, while dorans gives 3% lifes steal. If you autoattack with 55 ad with cull, you get 3 hp back, but autoattacking with dorans with 55 ad will give around 1.5 hp, making the sustain on cull better. With 400 extra gold, you can get a ruby crystal and 150 extra hp rather than the 80. After you cash in the stacks, you get the gold lead assuming you arent awful at csing, so that increases your kill potential a lot more than 80 health and 3 ad. Its much better in higher elos where hitting 100 cs takes like 10 minutes, but its much less effective in lower elos where you might not even hit 100 cs the entire game! It has its disadvantages but its definitely not a trash item
