Morellonomicon on supports

Morellonomicon is 3000 gold. I think that makes Grievous Wounds too hard to acquire for supports. As a support, I don't get my 2300 gold first item (ardent) until at LEAST 10 minutes in. And 10 minutes is assuming the enemy feeds me FB and three kills. A more realistic timeline would put Morello at 15 minutes, even if I rush it as first item. You know what happens to supports that don't get some HP from upgrading their support item before 15 minutes? They feed the enemy midlaner who finished laning 5 minutes ago and has been roaming ever since. It's also too weak to really shut down a Soraka. It procs Grievous Wounds (40% reduced healing) for an entire 3 seconds!

Rejuvenation lasts 4 seconds, so even if she lands her Q the same instant I land my poke, (and she shouldn't, as it has a delay and usually lands a split second after the enemy support has landed their poke) she just waits 3 seconds to hit W and her ADC receives the full effect of her healing despite my 3000 gold purchase.

Then there's its HP bonus. What good is bonus HP against an enemy with a heal support? You know he's just going to back off whenever you land a poke so he doesn't take any more damage while his support returns him to full health, the taffer. A useful stat bonus would be the 8% MS boost Ardent gives. It would actually make Soraka's job harder as she would have a harder time landing her Qs and Es and I could get in more hits on the ADC before he escapes my range.

Morellonomicon just isn't viable for a support, even if they're up against the most healing focused support in the game: Soraka. If they swapped out Touch of Death on Oblivion Orb for Cursed Strike, then it'd be more viable because I could buy Oblivion Orb early for GW, then hold off on upgrading it until much later in the game when I face tankier enemies against which that 15% MPen is actually worth buying.

Personally, i'd like to see a new support item that gives GW instead. Something ~2200 gold with GW for at least four seconds and some MS, CDR, and/or AP. Hell, if it sounds too niche just leave the AP off and make it cheaper instead, so that tankier supports can buy it too. AD supports can just get Executioner's Calling/Mortal Reminder.

On a side note: Executioner's calling also lasts only 3 seconds. Maybe bump it up to 4 and increase the cost slightly?
