Learning an Adc as Draven

I'm going to start off by saying this: I was never or still am a skilled adc. But my recent usage of Draven showed me what it was like to play the carry role.

We all know he is regarded as difficult to play; with all his axes and positioning and what-not, but the fact that he even existed meant that I caught an insight to ad carrying in the professional league.

For example, the way that spinning axe lands back: it enforces you to position yourself correctly, which is essential in teamfights with almost any adc: yet on Draven it is required in the landing phase for success.

Furthermore, Draven has one escape and one slow. This is a prime example of where players like myself, seem to overextend and get caught by a Morgana Q, a W by Graves etc and unfortunately make the screen go black and white.

And yes, I am completely aware that every single adc requires skill to be mastered; but it's just a spark in that Draven that makes things just a little bit harder. This has lead me to try out other adc's such as Sivir and hopefully Kalista.

Tl;dr: Draven has made me understand what an Adc requires for success personally. And in the end: learn the hard stuff first, ace the easy stuff later.

*Keep in mind that all this is what I found to be the case. I'm in no way telling you to follow my ideas and all this is is to give you an insight to my opinion.

Thanks for reading :)
