Any basic tips for a Bronze Jhin main?

I'm getting a lot of games now where I'm completely useless. It's hard to give a good example other than the fact that mid-game my damage can be so gimp that moving into range to start shooting during a 5-man team fight quickly gets me focused and ganked, and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm sure other Jhin mains have faced the woes of a relatively fed Yasuo or Wukong, and due to the lack of mobility Jhin has, I'm wondering what to do in these situations? There are times that I just can't do anything about my team's bad positioning, and I can't carry when I'm unable to step into the fight and unload damage.

A lot of the problem is sustain. My teammates in many cases will die before I have a chance to have any real effect on the enemy team no matter which target I focus. ─ People keep leaving me under the impression that a "Plat this" or "Diamond that" player could just carry the whole game. How exactly would a "Plat this" or "Diamond that" player carry the whole game when their front line dies in 5 seconds?

Are there any YouTube videos that I can watch? I've read guides and watched some videos, but maybe I'm missing something? There are just times that I can't win for losing, and Jhin's lack of mobility makes the game rough to play in these situations.

If my front line dies before I have a chance to unload 4 autos and cycle through my first reload, what the Hell do I do? LOL!!! Pray for a miracle? Is this where my "magical ADC powers" are supposed to come into play and I Penta Kill the whole enemy team by some random act of God? ─ How does this work?

If my whole team is bad I'm supposed to just ... win the game by myself? Right?

Sometimes I feel it's better to just hover on the edge of the fight, wait for my team to throw down some damage, and come in during the final seconds of the fight and clean up rather than engaging during the first few seconds of the engagement. Games where I do this I tend to live a lot longer, but it's always a 50/50 chance I take whether or not the strategy will work.

There are times when you can walk up into the fight and there are times when you have to wait until the enemy blows their big cc/ults. There are times when the enemy gets a good initiation on your team and you have to disperse and not fight. It's situational.

I would just get fed in lane and deny the enemy cs by freezing the wave. I'm bad at at lot of things like map awareness (which has kept me in silver), but I learned how to lane first. Even getting better at the basics like csing would help. Bronze get a lot less cs than any other elo and that gold difference is like you missing a couple kills in lane.

Learning how to create pressure in lane is important too. If you've ever had the chance to lane against a higher elo player like plat +, you'd know the pressure they put on you is tremendous compared to bronze which has no pressure.

If you are behind focus on CCing ppl with your W and finishing ppl with R.

Those 2 things can be done from rather safe spots, but since both require you to drive your attention away from your location be sure not to have flankers on your back.

def hover the edge of team fights useing ur ulti or ur snare til enemy has used up a lot of abilities. From experience if i go in on a teamfight to early we will most times lose. Jihn has absurd range and ive found that just standing back and useing snares and ulti almost like a support til enemy has nothing left to kill me with, then go in and start aa is by far the best way to handle teamfighting with jihn. If they can get to you, you are going to die so ward up ur flanks b4 or during the part that u cant get into it and stay far enough away that flash and gap closer cant get to you and just be a supprt for a few seconds then unload.
