PSA: forcing off meta picks on strangers is not cool

Sorry snowflake patrol it's not. If it's your friends then have at it, but it's strangers instead and most of the truly off meta picks don't work most of the time.

Want to know why? Jungle zyra is a cool idea if you play zyra a lot. First timing her in the jungle is stupid and disrespectfull to the other 9 players. Most of the people doing it will fail hard and waste 30+ min.

"Lol hope this works" is not teamwork.

Also someone needs to explain the logic behind getting angry that you don't receive a leash as an off meta jungle.

Hold on you want teamwork now? Your lulu jungle wasn't team friendly choice (in most cases) so why do you expect help?

Soon as I see a goofy choice my resolution to just put your ass on ignore.

I give them a leash, then judge from there. Not leashing is like saying "I dont want to win because of you."

Not giving your teammate a leash just because you dislike what they chose isn't teamwork. You're contradicting yourself.

If I see an off meta Jungler on my team, i usually hold my breath until about 5 minutes in. If they die to Raptors during that time, I know i'm in for a long 30 minutes, (probably less). I'm more patient in normal's, cause how else will you learn. But if you're in rank, you better have that shit on lock. As for a leash, i'll give the standard 4-5 autos then i'm out. At least give them a fighting shot to succeed.

Because it's one player taking an action with the specific purpose of making one of their teammates weaker. The guy who picks jungle Zyra isn't trying to screw his teammates. He might end up playing well or playing poorly, but at least he's trying to play well with his pick. The guy who refuses to leash for the jungle Zyra because he doesn't like the pick is trying to screw his teammate. The only reason he's doing it is to hurt his teammate, and that makes it worse.

My favorite off metas are AD Kennen (Guinsoo's, Hurricane, BORK, Bloodthirster, RFC and Boots) and AP Aatrox (Guinsoo's, Gunblade, Nashor's, Rylai's, Rabadon's and Boots.)

I have never gone off meta unless I was confident that I could make it work, like AD on-hit jungle lulu (before sated was 4 hit on ranged, havent tried since) it was a bit slow but with sated and bork you do almost too much damage, hurricane and you can solo a team, frozen mallet and no one can escape you, it was really fun to play and I was confident that I could do it because I main her. I've also tried runeglaive but it just felt like a top or mid lulu that takes longer to be effective so I only did that once. Maybe I'll try sated again and see how the 4 hit works with her.

I've yet to see a mastery ribbon on any of the people except a bard jungle... he did fine.

He actually told the group "I main bard don't worry".

i hope this is directed to ranked games specifically. because you can't learn a pick without practicing it, which for practice, you would do that in normals. i do agree though if someone if picking something like nasus support (i had one the other day, he afked at 10 minutes) for the first time in ranked, especially if they do it just to troll. but you shouldn't flame someone if they are doing something like ap kog'maw but it is one of their most played things.

Unless you're more comfortable with an off meta pick than a meta pick.
