I know listening to boards for balance ideas is bad but why not make illaoi more in motion?

Lore and in game quotes: "Be in motion or you're going to die, yadda yadda, tentacles."

In game: "hurr durr i have a little tentacle nest here, better not leave it or I'll die horribly."

Ideas to actually make her more in motion:

  1. Give her a limit outside of her ult to only have 3-5 tentacles at a time but change her passive to be on a chrage/active thing. Basically you store tentacles and gain charges until the max amount, once you activate the passive, the tentacles will spawn around Illaoi near walls BUT like live have the 1000 range limit thingy, this is to prevent her spawning 5 from her passive inside baron pit then another 3 or more with ult. She generates charges based on distance travelled and starts to lose charges when standing in one spot for too long.

  2. Make her E more fair before turning into a vessel but more punishing after. How you do this: depending on how close the champ who had his/her spirit pulled is to the spirit will cause the spirit to transfer 80% less of the damage and will start to shorten the spirit time of being out if the champ is within 400 range of the spirit. Nzow because it is much easier to beat Illaoi once she has the spirit out, you can make letting her turn you into a vessel be much more punishing. Change the duration to 20 seconds and cause the vessel to spawn a tentacle once every 5/4/3 seconds.

  3. Change her ult to no longer spawn extra tentacles on spirits, that would be overkill and counter intuitive to the E change of earlier. Increase her ult duration by 2 seconds and cause her ult to mark enemies hit by her initial ult cast, marking the enemy as a mini vessel so to speak for 3 seconds which does not make them spawn tentacles but causes Illaoi ult to slap them. Illaoi can only mini vessel 2 people this way.

  4. Change her Q scaling to be weaker at levels 4-9 but stronger at levels 11-18. Playing illaoi shows her level 4-9 is where she snowballs hard and is very difficult to fight. Once she builds a lead here, it is steamrolling to her typically melee lane opponent. If a ranged lane opponent is being pushed hard by Illaoi at this point then they are lagging, playing Urgot, or are bad.
