Can Riot fix their matchmaking?

So I'm playing Pantheon, right? And I tightly secure a kill on my opponent Garen on top lane 1v1, efficiently diving him and netting myself a nice bonus, also nicely hitting level 6.

I back to base in order to shop and take a look at the bot lane as I gained access to my ultimate. The enemy bot lane seems to be pushing my guys in, perfect I think in my head and let out a small smile - it'll be a great opportunity to use my ultimate.

I ping twice that I'm on my way and type in chat : "wait me", while furiously moving my character to assist my teammates AND LO AND BEHOLD MY RAKAN INSTANTLY DIVES RIGHT INTO THE ENEMY SUPPORT WHILE BEING ON 40% HP, LEAVING HIS CAITLYN UNDER THE TOWER AND PROMPTLY GETS 1 SHOT I IMMEDIATELY GASP IN DISBELIEF AND ALT TAB MY GAME TO CHECK THIS RAKAN'S DIVISION BY TYPING HIS NAME IN THE OP.GG SEARCH BAR- OF COURSE IT'S PLAT FUCKING 3, WHAT IS THIS PLAT 3 DOING IN MY DIAMOND 5 GAME? I AM DIAMOND 5, I WILL WAIT 5 HOURS IF I HAVE TO IN ORDER TO NOT PLAY WITH PLATINUMS, PLEASE RIOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX YOUR MATCHMAKING ALGORITHMS

After 1 minute that it took me to come to my senses, I come back into the game and write in teamchat that we should FF at 15 minutes cause Rakan is platinum 3, my MID LANE ZYRA disagrees which prompts me to check his elo too OH LOOK, who else could have played a mid lane zyra besides another PLATINUM elo player, I check his score and it's 1-4 at 8th minute, yeah figures.

Now instead of these stupid algorithms where game is decided upon who has the better Platinum shitter how about we actually work on the matchmaking and make it so that Diamonds play with Diamonds, and Platinums play with Platinums ? Is that too much to ask ? How many more games will have to be ruined by these Platinums before we make the steps necessary for better gameplay? Either that or give me back my ability to flame
