Minion Block: Feeling especially bad in Top Lane / Tank

Pretty much every game I play in top-lane with bulky champs like Malphite, Alistar, etc., last hitting or trading in or around minions always results in my champion going fucking nuts and tripping over minions, getting stuck, moving back and forth, etc.
